Good Start (1–3 October)

Dear First-Year Doctoral Students,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the onboarding programme “Good Start”, which will
take place on 1–3 October 2025. This is a unique opportunity to become better acquainted with the
University of Warsaw – its structure, resources, and support services for early-career researchers – as
well as to meet and connect with one another.

The program includes a variety of meetings, walks, and workshops. A key highlight will be the
Inauguration of the Academic Year at the Doctoral Schools of the University of Warsaw, scheduled
for 3 October at 2:00 PM in the Old Library Building (Stary BUW) Auditorium Hall.

Registration for the events within “Good Start” will open on 15 September at 6:00 PM. For activities
with a limited number of places, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event is funded by the “Excellence Initiative – Research University” programme.
