Doctoral School of Humanities

II year – information about classes

In the Winter semester of the IInd year, the following general university classes will be held for Doctoral School of Humanities students:

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER (SCHOLAR’S WORKSHOP)
compulsory classes to be carried out in the amount of 4 hours in Polish or in English, which will be conducted by Krzysztof Gulda, MA.

  • 09.11.2021 and 18.11.2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 – obligatory lecture in Polish
  • 30.11.2021 and 02.12.2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 – obligatory lecture in English

ACQUIRING GRANTS (SCIENTIST’S WORKSHOP)
compulsory classes to be implemented  in the second or third semester of education in the amount of 8 compulsory hours and 4 voluntary hours. In the winter semester available only classes in English.

  • 10.11.2021, 08.12.2021, 15.12.2021, 12.01.2022 (Wednesdays) from 11:30 to 13:00 – obligatory lecture in English – lecturer dr Marta Zaręba
  • 17.01.2022 (Monday) from 9:45- to 11:15 and from 11:30 to 13:00 – voluntary lecture in English – lecturer Kamil Matuszczyk, M.A.

ATTENTION! If someone  completed the classes in polish (Pozyskiwanie grantów) during the second semester of education (led by prof. Golińska-Pilarek and mgr K. Matuszczyk), please do not register again.

PUBLIC SPEAKING
voluntary 8-hour classes. Lecturer: prof. Jacek Wasilewski.

  • 18.11.2021, 25.11.2021 from 13:00 to 14:30 –  part 1 – voluntary lecture in Polish
  • 02.12.2021, 09.12.2201 from 13:00 to 14:30 – part 1 – voluntary lecture in English
  • 16.12.2021, 13.01.2022 from 13:00 to 14:30 – part 2 – voluntary lecture in English.

To pass the classes, you must register for part 1 in Polish or English and part 2.

REGISTRATION FOR CLASSES
Registration for classes  will be launched from 27.09.2021 at 20.01 to 01.10.2021 at 23.59. Registration will be conducted via https://usosweb.uw.edu.pl.

MASTER’S SCHOOL SEMINAR
online classes on selected Wednesdays. As in the previous year, please reserve your time between 3 pm and 6 pm. You do not register for the seminar in USOS.
