Doctoral School of Humanities

I year – information about classes

In the Winter semester of the Ist year, the following general university classes will be held for Doctoral School of Humanities students:

ETHICS
This course consists of two parts – a lecture (4 teaching hours) and workshops (2 workshops, 2 teaching hours each). 8 hours in total.

  • lecture  will be given by prof. Paweł Łuków (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Warsaw);
    dates:
    – 26.10.2021 from 11.30-13:00 i 13:15-14:45 (lecture in Polish) or
    – 9.11.2021 from 12.00-13.30 i 13:45-15:15 (lecture in English)
  • workshops ; each doctoral student is obliged to take part in 2 out of 6 workshop proposals (each workshop lasts 2 teaching hours).

This course consists of two parts – a compulsory lecture (4 teaching hours) and a voluntary lecture (4 teaching hours).  The classes will be conducted by dr hab. Wojciech Machała (Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw)

  • 17.11.2021 from 10.00 to 13.15 – obligatory lecture in Polish
  • 09.12.2021 from 10.00 to 13.15 – obligatory lecture in English
  • 24.11.2021 from 10.00 to 13.15 – voluntary lecture in Polish
  • 16.12.2021 from 10.00 to 13.15 – voluntary lecture in English

ACADEMIC TEACHING
This course consists of two parts – lecture (part A), workshop (part B).  The lecture part lasts 10 hours, the workshop part –  20. Both parts are compulsory (30 hours in total).

  • lecture in Polish (part A)
    04.10.2021- 08.11.2021 (Mondays) from 14:00 – 15:30 –  stationary
  • lecture in English (part A) 05.11, 19.11, 26.11. 2021 (Fridays) from 9:45-11:15 and 11:30-13:00 –  online

Workshops: 1 workshop to choose from among 5 groups in Polish and 1 in English. Each workshop is scheduled for 20 didactic hours.


REGISTRATION FOR CLASSES

Registration for classes  will be launched from 27.09.2021 at 20.01 to 01.10.2021 at 23.59. Registration will be conducted via USOS: https://usosweb.uw.edu.pl.
