“New Long March, China of the Xi Jinping era” – meeting and debate with prof. Bogdan Góralczyk

The European Center of the University of Warsaw and the Department of Regional and Global Studies of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies invite you to a meeting that will be held on November 26 (Friday) from 17.00-19.00 in the auditorium of prof. J. Baszkiewicz in the Auditorium Building of the University of Warsaw (ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28).

The debate will revolve around the newest book by prof. B. Góralczyk “New Long March, China of the Xi Jinping Era”, which is a reference to his work from three years ago “The Great Renaissance. Chinese transformation and its consequences”. The presented book is a summary of the author’s knowledge about China, as well as an analysis and assessment of the reality that has changed extremely dynamically in the last few years (in China itself and – above all globally, also in the context of the challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic). It also includes forecasts and open questions about the future, not only of China, but also global relations. Among other things, the speakers at our event will talk about it!
