Additional Scholarship
By decision of the Rector, doctoral students who have completed at least their first year of study may apply for an additional scholarship related to academic achievements. Applications for the scholarship should be submitted from 10 to 23 October 2023 at the school secretariats. Applications can also be sent to phd.nh@uw.edu.pl
Doctoral students who meet both criteria may apply for the scholarship:

2) have demonstrated at least one of the following achievements in the academic year 2022/2023:
- acceptance for publication of a scientific article in a journal from the ministerial list or included in the SCOPUS database or in peer-reviewed post-conference materials,
- presentation of a paper at a scientific conference, which is not part of the study programme at the Doctoral School of the University of Warsaw,
- obtaining a patent related to the research conducted as part of the doctoral project,
- submission of an application for an external grant which has passed formal assessment,
- realisation of a scientific activity for which applications from the funds of the programme “Initiative of Excellence – Research University” (IDUB) intended for doctoral students are subject to a merit review.
The fact that you have an academic achievement is confirmed by the signature of your supervisor. In the event of the supervisor’s unavailability, a certificate of the academic achievement may be presented.
The amount of the scholarship will be determined by the Rector upon receipt of the applications. The scholarship is scheduled to be paid in December.
