Scholarship

Dear Doctoral School Attendants,

I would like to inform you that we are currently striving to simplify the scholarship payment system. At the moment the system is undergoing tests. In order to avoid potential problems that may appear during work in the system that hasn’t been verified in 100 percent, we are forced to postpone its implementation for one month. Therefore we need to implement a different solution that relies on manual collection of data in order to effectively pay out scholarships in November with compensation for October. We are implementing the system realizing that any delays in the scholarship payments would be stressful for you and would generate problems.

In light of the above we are asking you to perform the following actions:

1. You will find the application under this address. It needs to be filled out until Sunday the 27th of October, until 15.00.

2. The next step is to sign the application which is obligatory. The applications will be generated upon the data that has been sent by you. The applications will be printed and available for you to sign them from Monday the 28th of October until Thursday the 31st of October in the secretary’s office of the Doctoral School (Krakowskie Przedmieście street no. 1). During this period the office will be open from 10.00 a.m. until 3 p.m.

3. You are asked to fill out the data in the application regarding the tax office that is proper to your address of residence. Of course there are no tax deductions from the scholarships, however the financial system that operates the scholarship payouts requires such data to be entered into the system for the scholarship funds to be transferred to your accounts.

4. Doctoral students admitted upon the recruitment process organized within research projects and doctoral students fulfilling implementation doctorates are also asked to fill out the application, even though the scholarship payment in such cases shall take place individually in accordance with the rules stipulated in the agreements of research projects.

5. Persons that possess declarations on the degree of disability are asked to submit these declarations to the Office for Persons with Disabilities (Dobra street no. 55, room no. 0.070, ground floor) until 31 October.

We would like to inform you that failure to submit the application in accordance with the above instruction shall make it impossible to pay out the scholarship in November. Those who fail to do so will receive scholarships in December with compensation for October and November.
